Hello Beautiful readers,
Apologies I haven’t released any blogs for a while now, trying to put some structures in place hence the silence.
I’m back did anyone miss me #smiles#. I did miss you all, what have y’all been up to. A lot has happened since the last time I blogged. My daughter turned 5 and yes it was such a milestone for me, couldn’t believe I have been a mum for 5 years, okay let’s not get too distracted.
I went for the Empowering Mother’s conference on Saturday put together by my Coach. The theme of the conference was “Chosen for such a time as this”. I was part of the planning committee and i had the opportunity to work alongside some very intelligent, hardworking, spirit filled women. It was such a learning experience for me as well as I learned lots of new skills and was able to feed off the other ladies. Team working is the best way to learn.
Anyways one of the speakers said something which really hit home for me and I want to briefly touch on this subject. She said and I quote “Your career isn’t necessarily your destiny, your purpose and your calling is your destiny”. I personally believe that God has put you on earth at this time for a reason for such a time as this. You were born in that country and in your birth year for a particular reason.
She also said and I quote “sometimes your calling comes from painful experiences”
That really hit home for me as I can personally relate with that statement.
Your pain, your hurt, years of abuse can become your testimony. I know it sounds hard and really unfair, but I believe now in recent years that my calling came from my painful experiences. If I can do it, yes you can. You can rise up to the occasion, you can overcome your hurt, you can rise above your pain and become that person who God wants you to be. I did it so can you.
You are chosen for such a time as this. It’s time to fight and live according to your purpose.
Say this word of prayer with me
Father Lord, i chose to walk in your will, help me Lord to discover my purpose and help me to walk in your divine will. Give me the strength to overcome my shame, pains and guilt, open the eyes of my understanding to see and realise your calling for my life. In Jesus’s name, AMEN.
God bless you and remember you are a Child of the Most High.
SHALOM!
