This time last week I had arrived the De vere Hotel in South Croydon prepping for the  Empowering Mother’s conference, a yearly conference organised by my coach Detola Amure the founder of the Super Working Mum Academy a coaching Academy specially designed for women who wants to maximise their time and manifest their dreams through the help of Abba.

The conference was themed “Supernaturally Empowered for greater works”. we had three guest speakers who all touched on amazing topics. The very first speaker spoke on “Living from the inside out, Allowing God’s purpose to move you forward”

When you live from the inside out and allowing God’s purpose to move you forward” You have to let go of flesh, You are walking and living intentionally, Everything you do is driven by God’s purpose for you. You are aligning his will with yours and therefore you just have to live supernaturally.

The truth is there will always be a clash between what the flesh wants and what the spirit wants. There will never be an agreement between both. I loved the part where she mentioned her struggles with trying to eat healthy, exercising with not being able to stay away from a plate of Jollof rice and fried plantain. The internal struggles with letting go of toxic relationships, the battle of  forgiveness, letting go of bitterness, anger and hurt. As hard as it sounds you just have let go because the Holy Spirit cannot function effectively in your mind if there is all kinds of emotional junk in there, hence you might not be living supernaturally.

Many years ago I used to be very bitter, hurtful and rude, all these three come as a package. Most Rude people are very hurtful and bitter. They have all sorts of baggage holding them down  thats why I don’t even bother my head when I come across one because I know its usually way deeper.

At some point I reached breaking point and thats when I made a decision that changed my life forever. I met a Man who taught me the power of forgiveness, My Husband! I learned from him how to truly forgive letting go of baggages and truly live a Spirit led life.

When the Spirit took over, I chose to live from the inside out, I chose the higher road, I chose to be purposeful, I chosen to be intentional, I  chose to align my will with God’s will and let him take the wheel. I have since become a happier, more healthier, graceful, Intentional Wife, Mum and also to the nation that God has placed in my care.

Detola the convener of the conference herself spoke on topic “The Spirit led Woman”  the day I saw this topic I instantly knew this is specially prepared for me. I have come to a place of comfort where I know that every detail of my life has to be controlled by Abba. Can’t even help it anymore and the funny thing is people around can easily perceive it, they can smell the aura, it is obvious because you truly can’t hide it for long.

Many times we have replaced the place of the Holy Spirit with our own intellectual minds. Especially people who are well read and educated, we constantly try to rationalise God’s way with our own intellects. Every time I commune with Abba before setting out with my daily activities I achieve more and I feel a sense of peace. That is not to say I don’t hit road blocks Yes I do, but the difference is that I don’t worry. I always feel a sense of peace and calmness, why because I have allowed him take the wheels, I stop driving the Car.

You are more likely to fulfil, achieve more and be more purposeful when you are spirit led than when you aren’t.

When I was younger, my mum had a friend who used to dabble into every business that came her way. There was a time she was selling flour, There was a time she invested in selling clothes, there was a time she invested in selling forever living products in the end she started a Private Primary School. This was at a time where primary schools who I would never have imagined could break grounds in my community at the time actually did blossom and grew. But Her school never grew. It was stagnant for Years and she was running at a loss.

In the end nothing much came out of that venture, young as I was at the time, I used to ask my mum why is your friend wasting all these money and resources doing all this businesses which isn’t really yielding anything. Looking back now I’m thinking maybe all she needed to do was just ask the one who knows it all the giver of life himself,  she probably would have saved herself all that trouble of doing all the many things she was dabbling into at the time. He will never lead you astray, you are either not listening or not hearing right.

At the Conference on of my very good friends who was a part of the roundtable Q&A sessions, by the way this woman is one of the smartest people I have come across.

She mentioned how she kept trying to climb the corporate ladder applying for jobs, kept reading and writing exams looking for the next best role to apply for, most of her friends in the same circle who isn’t as qualified as she was were holding good jobs down but she couldn’t. She said and I quote “I had everything else going in my life except that one thing  My Career never kicked off”   Guess why God is calling her unto something else.

Today She is an Author of not just one book but many more, She is helping struggling parents match schools for their kids, she is walking in purpose, free, happy and fulfilled. What made the difference the “God Factor”

Recently I was listening to a message by Pastor Sam Adeyemi, He said When the Holy Spirit resides in you you should automatically have a brilliant explosive mind” The presence of the Holy Spirit coupled with the innate abilities that God has naturally deposited in you is a very powerful force which cannot be reckoned with.

Recently I shared a post on my Facebook page about a shoe I got two and half years which was just £4.99 at the time when I was actually going for pumps which cost about £60. I stumbled on the former and it’s served me for almost 3 years. Sometimes our purpose doesn’t have to always look fancy and posh, sometimes it looks tacky, and cheap not something we had in mind. But God is saying I want to make something magnificent out of tacky and cheap only If we can live inside out and allow the ‘Spirit Factor” take full control.

On of my favourite country musicians Carrie Underwood sand a song a while back  titled “Jesus take the wheel”

the chorus says

Jesus take the wheels, take it from my hands, cause I can’t do this on my own I’m letting go so give me on more chance and save me from this road I’m on. Jesus take the wheel.
