Hiya, it’s been a while eh.

In recent times I have become a very Intentional person however before this transition I find it hard to embark on many things at the same time, I finish one before moving on to the next, I don’t know if that’s a positive attribute or negative.

But what I have come to learn is that when things aren’t going the way I want it to or when under pressure, I tend to focus so much and I get quite tensed, finding it difficult to probably leave that one thing that I cannot control.

Then I turn to food,  I start comfort eating,   Stop calling my friends, exercise less, Binge on season movies, Horibble right🙄 Except my spiritual life and my family life, I never let anything get in the way of treating God or my family right. I always keep that in check and intact. Sometimes I even go on weeks without cleaning my house, I just want the cup to pass over me lol…

Here is what I have learned, Although I’m still a work in progress but I know it will get better. When certain things aren’t going right or when I am not able to achieve certain tasks I focus on the things that are working and the things that I can control rather than allow the the negatives to affect the ones that I have control over.

Recently I listened to Coach Deji Sobanjo on a Facebook live session which He ran, He touched on how being too focused can actually be more of a negative than positive, as weird as it sounds I think He was right about one thing. He mentioned that when one is too focused on one thing, it makes one lose awareness of the other things happening around.

The only thing you should never ever shift your focus away from really is God😎😎

I have also learned that it is better to go through a storm victoriously rather than letting the cup pass over. It’s easier to pray for the problem to go away or for God to fix the problem miraculously. But when you go through a storm, your faith in  God moves up a notch higher thereby enabling you to Challenge God and take on more difficult tasks whilst relying solely on His strength for the task ahead. This improves your productivity and you find out that you are actually achieving more than you’ve even set out to do.

If you have a similar problem, Try and steer away from that one thing that isn’t working, and expend your energy to the world around you and work on the things which you can control. Be Intentional about these things. When you are under pressure maybe that’s the time to eat less and exercise more, sweat it out on a run or at the gym, whilst praying it out with Abba. Being Intentional is Key.

“Cast all your cares on Him” It’s such a popular quote but do we really cast our cares on Him? It’s a rhetoric question!  I Challenge you today, Cast all your cares on Him, It helps you worryless because you know Abba is working things out on your behalf.. Keep being diligent and that breakthrough you so much desire will come.

Until I come your way next time, Remember you are Abba’s own👊🏽
