You are the constant in the chaos, you are the eye within the storm.

You are the rain on the drought soil, and the fire that keeps me warm

You are the breath within my body, You are the blood within my veins

You are the ship that leads to safety, through the dark looming waves

You are the endless skies I look to, You are the questions in my heart

You are the friend I always turn to, when life gets too hard

You are the galaxies and the angles, You are the whisper in the night

You are the picture of a memory, of when we did things right

You are the smell of things forgotten, You are the warmth of the summers glow

You are the first step in the morning, onto pristine crisp snow

You are the hope of new beginnings, You are the hug from people missed

You are the first sip of a warming drink, and the tremble when we kissed

You are the private joke with friends, You are the promise of forever and the love that never ends

You are the icy toes by fire, You are the shoulder when I’m low

You are the strength within the struggle, and Your love brings me home.
