The very first weekend in July I went away for a retreat where i met up with a group of ladies, some i have met and known before, some I was meeting for the very first time, on the Saturday we had a dinner night where we just basically celebrated ourselves as Super Working Women!
Yes that was the highlight of the retreat for me, a beautiful lady came around to minister to us with her beautiful voice and before she did she touched on an important topic for me which hit home.
She said God told her to start doing certain things and one of which included calling Him by who he has been to her. So certain stuffs started to happen and she had to learn to depend and trust on God more.
Basically before you can call God “Jehovah Jireh” he must have provided for you and you must have experienced it that he is indeed Jehovah Jireh. However, yes he is Jehovah Jireh the Lord our provider, but the question is, has he ever provided for you? If not then you probably need to switch things up a little bit.
Why not take time out, find out what God has been to you and write them down. And the next time you want to worship him, call Him by the names He means to you.
He is different things to different people,that is why theologians call him OMNIPOTENT. Endeavour to call him by those names and you will be amazed how much those words will mean to you.
As christians we have been taught to worship God in a certain way and we have a regimented way of doing things. Take a moment out of the norm and discover God for yourself in a different direction and you will be amazed at the results which you will get!
Daniel 11;32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he pervert by flatteries; but the people that know their God shall be strong and do exploits.

The only reason why I have been able to tell people about God is because I know he is God. I call him my POTTER. He molds my life to suit his purpose. This is not a clique, this what he has done. He turned my mess into a message. I have seen him do wonders. A faithful father in deed. I can’t wait for the exploit is going to do through me. I’m NO LONGER A SLAVE TO FEAR , I AM A CHILD OF GOD.
