Sometime last year a lovely friend of mine Kiki,  who runs a Coaching firm, called “Joshua’s Army” an outlet for Men and Boys.

The main aim of this organisation is to raise strong, spiritual and purpose-driven boys, fostering healthy and purposeful relationships between Fathers and their sons.

She runs an online show called Date with Kiki (DWK) on YouTube where she engages young men, discussing very pressing issues that they are faced with on a daily basis.

She reached out to me, in the Autumn of 2019, asking to interview David, she wanted him to speak about what life is like being married to a survivor of sexual abuse.

I find it very interesting because I thought it would be nice to know from a third party what it’s like being married to a survivor. Anyways she asked him and of course, He agreed.

So you can imagine my delight when Kiki announced that this particular episode is out on YouTube.

Sometimes we focus so much on the survivors we forget about their spouses, their families, their moms, and Dads, how this has affected them and they have coped with it, how they have dealt with the shock and horror of knowing that someone whom they love and cherish has been sexually violated.

Watching the video, I choked back a few tears, David is an introverted, Introvert lol, Hearing him speak from his heart like that was pure bliss. I was awwwwwwwing the whole time lol.

Please click HERE to watch this interview.

Watch the video, subscribe to DWK her contents are mind-blowing, If you have a son above the age of 10, sign up to her Boyz4real coaching classes, you will most definitely thank me later.

Survivors need to build trust with their sexual partners and feel like they are in charge of their sexual experiences, focusing on ways that you can make sex a safe activity that will empower the survivor and strengthen their sexuality to get healthy.
